En France en 2020, 58 départements sont concernés par le moustique-tigre or Aedes albopictus designated major invasive species. A champion of adaptation, the tiger mosquito is now well established in temperate regions. It carries various diseases and is very dangerous.

Another mosquito, the Aedes aegypti vector of the dengue virus 55% of the population is under surveillance, world is now exposed to the dengue virus.
On recense plus de 390 millions de cas chaque année et 20 000 à 30,000 dead. The entire tropical belt is affected each year. Aedes aegypti is a tropical mosquito (which carries dengue, chikungunya, yellow fever and zika), present in the south of France in the past, it disappeared with DDT-based treatment and sanitation of the territory.
Still present in Europe.
There are 3500 species of mosquitoes, they are everywhere from sea level, up to 1200 m altitude. There are mosquitoes everywhere, diurnal and nocturnal!
On s'intéresse en France particulièrement l'Aedes albopictus (moustique tigre) which has made strong progress in mainland France in recent years.
